Based on the authorial book Projetando Memória [projecting memory (published in 2009)],
the open collaborative cartography presented here has been generated since 2015,
also in line with activities of cultural and environmental education.
It was made available free of charge through open access,
both as a digital book and on a website
from 2020.

Specifically, this is one of the results
of continuous teaching activities related to research and academic extension,
which students have been experimenting
in subjects taught in undergraduate courses
of Architecture and Urban Planning and in Visual Design
at the University Center of Brasília (CEUB),
at the University of Brasília (UnB),
and at the Catholic University of Brasília (UCB)
resulting in an inter-institutional set.

Thus, over the course of 10 years,
through the interpretation and creativity of many students,
expressed in artisanal and digital ways,
the initial purpose, as a professor and supervisor,
of disseminating biocultural references
from both the Pilot Plan of Brasília and the Federal District
has generated a collection of more than 500 images.
Together, in the kind of Délibáb (Mirage)
that configured the Illustrated Brasilia
collection, they can raise our awareness
about this location and several of its multiple references.
